At Orb Rope Access we’re delighted to announce that following our annual audit, our SafeContractor and SafePQQ accreditations have been renewed for another year.
SafeContractor is the leading health and safety accreditation for the construction industry. Its accreditation scheme recognises an organisation’s capabilities in health and safety, diversity, and environmental management practices. SafeContractor was one of the first and largest SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) schemes in supply chain compliance to receive UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accreditation.
For Orb Rope Access, our SafeContractor accreditation makes us accountable and gives our clients confidence that we don’t pose a risk to their supply chain.
We also hold SafePQQ status which is an extension of the SafeContractor accreditation that provides greater visibility of our supply chain compliance. SafePQQ demonstrates our commitment to best practice in operational areas including finance, environment, quality management, equality, GDPR and more.
As a SafePQQ accredited company, all of our health and safety, and management information is held in one place, removing the need to complete multiple pre-qualification questionnaires for projects.
Julie Lavery, Director of Orb Rope Access, said: “We’re delighted to have passed our audit for another year. Our SafeContractor and SafePQQ accreditations are hugely important to our business. They demonstrate to clients that we are serious about our accountability and ensuring that all operational elements are streamlined and managed to expected industry standards.”
Alongside the SafeContractor accreditations, Orb Rope Access are proud to be full IRATA members (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association). For more information on what this means to our clients, go here.
