Orb Rope Access are delighted to announce that we are once again finalists of the North West Family Business Awards.
This year we have been shortlisted in the category of Construction, Property and Engineering, beating strong competition from a record number of family businesses based across the North West region.
Our category award celebrates the visionary contributions of construction, property and engineering businesses. It acknowledges enterprises that demonstrate exceptional quality in their respective fields, showcasing innovation, expertise and a commitment to excellence. Most significantly for Orb Rope Access, the award spotlights family businesses dedicated to creating and sustaining the structures that form the backbone of our region’s infrastructure.
We’re incredibly proud, and rather shocked, to have once again been announced as finalists in such a strong category! We believe it reflects our commitment to the preservation of heritage buildings, the way we give back to our local community and the growth we have experienced due to repeat business, recommendations and the expansion of our services beyond the North West.
The team will be looking forward to another special night at the awards ceremony. This year’s event will be held at Bolton Football Stadium on Friday 10th May, co-hosted by Dave Clarkson and Sue Howorth of The Family Business Community, alongside renowned food and drink writer, and presenter Nigel Barden.
Director of Orb Rope Access, Julie Lavery, said: “This is huge for us. In fact, it means even more than when we became finalists for the first time last year. To be finalists for the second year running shows that we’re consistently being noticed as a credible, strong family business that deserves recognition. I’m so delighted for our team who have worked so hard. Hopefully this year we can top it off by bringing the award home!”
Co-Founder and Director of The North West Family Business Awards, Sue Howorth said: “With another year of increased entries we have been working with our 23 judges which are representing all 5 counties of the North West, and we know they have had extremely difficult decisions to make. Our finalists should be extremely proud of themselves for being recognised in this year’s shortlist.”
Wish us luck!
